The famous beach of Kalogria is located at a distance of about 45 km west of Patras. It is one of the largest and most beautiful beaches in Greece. It is characterized by the endless sandy beach and the wonderful view.
Along the beach you can find canteens that offer coffees, soft drinks, sandwiches, ice cream and snacks, while they also have sunbeds with umbrellas. Of course there is plenty of space for those who wish not to choose the services offered by the canteens.
On the north side of the beach you will find the impressive dune which is worth climbing at least once in order to enjoy the panoramic view of the whole beach.
You can go to the nun beach by car. Parking near the beach is not so easy but you will definitely find it even if you need to walk a few minutes.
